Esports and Team Cognition

We explored the development of team cognition in esports context to achieve a better cognitive understanding of teamwork in the fast-paced virtual environment. 20 participants were interviewed to give rich information regarding the emergent of team cognition during gameplay. Themes and sub-themes were identified using the thematic analysis based on ground theory.
